My tire

When my office manager, Jeremy, came back from lunch yesterday he told me I had a flat on my car. I have no idea how I did that. The car was driving fine on my way in to the office.

I know how to change a tire, I just don't like to do it. That was one of the things my Dad made sure I knew how to do for myself when I started driving. That and checking and filling all the fluids in my car. But I just got a pretty manicure this past weekend and I had on dress clothes and it was in the 20s outside. I really didn't want to take care of this myself.

I called hubbs. I left him a message to please stop at my office on his way home and fix my tire.

In the meantime I talked to the office manager, Karen, at our office about 30 miles away. She suggested I ask Jeremy or the boss to change it for me. I'd rather die than ask them for anything. I told her hubbs or I would take care of it.

Karen called back later to talk to the boss. He was in the office next to mine when I heard him tell her "I don't give a damn if her tire is flat. I'm not changing it." And this is why I would have NEVER asked for help! Later the boss mentioned that I looked like I was in a bad mood. I smiled sweetly but didn't mention the conversation that I had overheard.

A bit later hubbs stopped by on his way home from work. He quickly changed the tire and put a plug in it for me. He put air in it on the way home then put it back on my car when I got home. He's such a nice hubby!!!

Your boss is a JERK! What kind of man would not want to help one of his employees.

Have you found a new job yet??
